[LE] We need more Halloween mods.

This game is famous for the number of mods it has, but honestly I could probably think of dozens of mods that have never been done. Right now, the one annoying me the most is the lack of halloween mods. There's some horror mods to choose from, but that's about it. The holidays mod is rather underwhelming honestly, and the halloween overhaul I thought was a bit excessive (mostly I think there's WAY too many pumpkins, no disrepect to the mod author though, he clearly put a lot of work into it.

 

How about more mods that add in halloween-themed enemies? A more subdued Halloween Overhaul? Costumes for the little ones. A haunted house. Yeah, there's horror mods that work fine, but honestly they don't really capture the spirit to me. Besides, I never enjoyed horror games anyway. Keep in mind, I had a hard time forcing myself to play through It Beats for Her. And when I saw that ghost in Falskaar, I immedietly turned around and ran, and never returned to where I found it. Of course, the ghosts in Skyrim don't bother me; they're basically just bandits with a custom texture. The ones that behave like 'real' (for lack of a better term) ghosts are the ones I can't stand. Its why I've never ever even contemplated trying Clockwork. And yes, I suffer from legitimate phasmophobia. I seriously fear ghosts more than death itself, and absolutely cannot stand most ghost stories. I'd prefer something more lite, or at least something that doesn't involve bloody ghosts of all things.

 

Yeah, my tastes may be niche, but for a game with a reputation like this one, you'd assume we'd have a far wider variety of halloween mods to choose from. I mean seriously here, WHY HAS NO ONE MADE A MOD THAT PUTS HALLOWEEN COSTUMES ON THE KIDS. Its so freaking obvious, but no one's done it. For some reason, I particularly like the idea of seeing a troll costume for some reason.

 

If only I could make my own models, I would honestly attempt it myself. I can't even really use the vanilla character creation I suck so much at models, and forget freaking textures. My inability to make my own assets is the main thing holding back my modding 'career' (that and my stupid creation kit not working fully for no apparent reason, fml).

 

I'm not really making a specific request, I'm just saying we need more halloween mods of any sort. The choices we have are just pathetic. Right now, I'm basically just going to run with Holidays (with it set to always be not-Halloween), Flying Crows, Ancient Trees of Skyrim, Stonehenge and HIlltops, and Honored Dead. Its the best I can come up with. I would run Falkreath Hauntings, but I'm afraid it'll conflict with Tel Nalta. There's also Witches Festival, but that's technically a part of Beasts of Tamriel, which is infamous for being unstable (I learned that the hard way for myself). If only I had more to choose from. No costume mods, not much for thematic creature mods, nothing remotely spoopy, you get the idea.
