Mod request: combat overhaul

Okay, hear me out,

 

What if there was a way to elevate the combat in the game and create some incentive to try different styles rather than switching to weapons and cheesing our way through and having that one martial style for ghosts?

 

What if martial styles after a strong attack or light attack combo inflicted a short enough stun to switch to a weapon style and follow up? Or if martial styles actually did chip damage to focus, potentially locking out weapons (outside of spears) for the rest of a difficult fight?

 

What if elemental magic actually did have an effect outside of status ailments? such as extra damage across opposing elements? (Ice cools fire, fire eats stone, stone stops tempest, tempest shocks ice?)

What if weapon style users when hit by a successful harmonic combo immediately switches out to a martial style and gets locked out for a second or 2?

These ideas could serve to bring more depth to Jade Empire's combat system. Think it could be possible or worth exploring?
