I am sorry I am posting problems like crazy, but those others were quite simple for me, vs this one. "Hey, I have this problem where I tried to install that 175 eye set, and now all my eyes are either black, or completely missing like no eyes, just see through. I deleted the files, started Mesh and Texture files all anew. I, for some reason, have two sets of mystic elves, and 1 set has the eyes just fine. Then new races appeared and all other races, including the new ones, excluding that 1 mystic elf set, all have the eye problem. I would hate to reinstall the game, because 1 file I have gotten so far in and still working on. Any ideas? It was Elaborate Eyes, I downloaded, along with some compilation set to improve the eyes. I put those in Mesh and Texture, then BAM! Eye problem." That's basically what I wrote to them. Any ideas? bben46 Posted June 30, 2009 Share Posted June 30, 2009 Most eye problems are related to having too many 'beauty' type mods installed. Each one wants to control how the eyes look and you get something strange. black eyes, no eyes, googly eyes, strange color etc. Look for mods such as 'beautiful people' and any custom race mod. disable all of them and see if you get the vanilla eyes back. Then reinstall the mods one at a time until you find the one that is causing the problem. A load order might help us to diagnose your problem. How to use OBMM to make a load order list for posting. Open OBMM - if you don't have it, get it. It is needed for a lot of things when you work with mods. Look on the right, you will see a box with 'Import/Export'. Click that.Then select the first option, 'View Load Order' A new window will open with only your active mods listed in their load order. Any unchecked mods will not appear in this list. Use your mouse to highlight the entire list, then left click on the highlighted list. A box will open with Cut, copy paste. Select copy – DO NOT SELECT CUT! Now you can close the window and close OBMM (This might take a few minutes as OBMM takes a while to close.) Go to where you want to put the load order list – I recommend creating either a text document or a word processing document and naming it load order and the date (load order 6-22-08.txt) Then open that document, place your cursor at the beginning and right click. Select paste. This should copy your load order into the document. Now, to get the load order into a post, open the forum, find where you want to place the load order list and paste it. The copied text will be inserted where you place the mouse cursor. If you want to keep a copy for your own use, make a text file and past the same list into it. Then 'save as' and give it a name that you will remember, such as Load list-1.txt Be sure to manually input that you are using OBMM and if you are using them, OBSE and WryeBash as they are not really mods, but utility programs and will not show in the list. BOSS is another utility, also used outside of the game. If you are using BOSS, you will need OBMM also as any mod not recognized by BOSS will be placed at the end of the load order. I thought I could control that from the left hand side of the window, but your description is more detailed. I have these mods that worked fine before the whole thing. (Esp Files)Sexy Companion II (I just find that so hilarious and such a great job)Rens Beauty Pack full (both hair and the add race, KT New Race as well)Beautiful People V22 - Male replacer V4Male Replacer V4 And that is all my mods that are showing up in the Data Files from Oblivion Launcher. But I will try what you said. I am sure one of those Male replacers is for female, because I have the new female set. I just like things to be a bit more out there and realistic in some sense. Thank you again for your help. remove beautiful people and your eye problems will vanish I did that and even removed all the other so it is just the main esm and esp files. However it fixed my character (Dark Elf) with only one set of eyes and no option to select any others. So I just went ahead and deleted it all and restarted the game again. It made me sad because I got so far in the game and now have to do it all over again, but that is ok. I just wish I knew what mod I can use for a few extra races, lots of eye options, like some that glow in the dark, have my mystic elves, nude patches, and sexy companion. I also wish I knew what packs for better clothing for women, armor for men, a few cool not too powerful of weapons, and anything that can add to difficulty like werewolves, new quests, etc... I am new to all this. By the way, you are right, it is this>> Robert's MaleBodyReplacerV4 that is causing the eye problem and the missing torso and arms when wearing clothing. Any idea how to correct this? I went and go COBL mods, and this allows the new races to have eyes, although the other races don't really have eyes now, or NPCs are mssing eyes all black in color or nothing at all. This is just nuts and driving me crazy. I deleted everything, uninstalled Oblivion, added certain mods, and yet everything is still here as if I never deleted or uninstalled anything. I was using Roberts Male Body replacer V4, even after deleting all the folders, uninstalling the game, etc... I reinstalled only to discover the computer somehow backed everything up and restored it as before. So I found Roberts Body Replacer V5 Beta and IT WORKED! Cleared up everything, and it's great. My problem now is the game runs a bit choppy at times or slow. I have a high end Quad Core processor, 1GB Ram, and 1GB ATi Raedon video card. Perhaps it is time to go beyond 1GB of Ram. LOL Yes. it's absolutely time to increase RAM. 1GB with a 4 core processor? Who built that machine? You want 4GB minimum RAM with a 32 bit Operating System. 6GB with a 64 bit OS.
