Weiser_Cain
How do I give the player two or more perks per level and is there a way to make a separate perk menu to pop up just for custom perks?
mechine
Yeah sure no big deal Press ~ Type Player.addperk 02304293 Seariously, if you got all the perks then how is one charicter unique from another. Why bother going to the trouble, if we're going to cheat just god mode. I doubt you could make it where you pick two perks per level. But You might be able to interface the comands in the ~ comand line Like the player.addperk 0023929 whatever using FOSE all you would do is create a item, hey maybe even scripted to activate 1 minute after a level up, or via a control console an level up points as in 1 point per level up, either way upon having the interface open up it's not the level up screen, but a fake screen that looks like it, but only uses the player.addperk codes plus the points you get from leveling up or maybe not maybe just leave it to the cheater to decide, then level become god an get followers spread across the world, and pretty soon everybody goes to church to pray to you that you don't visit their town an blow everyone away. Hey while we're at it let's make a weapon that brings lightning down from the sky on enemys. I liked the idea at first, but it seems kind of silly. I use the weapons more than the perks anyway. Are you saying My charicter is a VIP CEO of detritus in the wasteland all nubs bow to meeeeeee! LOLZ You know you could just download the mod to raise the max level to 100 Ums I'm not saying that this isn't the place for this kind of post or anything But it seems to me it would fit better if posted in either the request a mod or general mod talk What's to trouble shoot? You don't have a problem, besides cheating maybe. If you do have a problem it's that you haven't started making this mod yet. Or maybe your problem is you want someone else to make it. I vote take a poll on if it's a viable mod, as it would take some time, and there's plenty of other work to dothat might be something everyone would like to use, but Idk you could be right an struck gold with this ideathat being said I wouldn't just throw the idea out there for someone else to claim the glory. Run with it if it's what you really want. You might learn all kinds of cool stuff to make other ideas.

Weiser_Cain
That may be true! Maybe I should make all sorts of wild claims about what I'm trying to accomplish, claim I have a team of modders that could go pro but don't because they're too hardcore to sell out? PositronicSpleen
I can't find any leveling up scripts or whatever, so I think it's hardcoded. Nevertheless, you might be able to get away scripting a custom menu after leveling up that adds another perk. I can't find any good resources on perks and leveling up, unfortunately. You could try opening up other people's mods and seeing what they've done. One person had a mod where you could buy perks, so maybe if you changed it to buy perks with a token you get once whenever you level up, that could accomplish something similar. If you don't care about being a little messy, it's probably easier to just make Here & Now available on ever other level, and halve the number of skill points they get. :P Edit: Take a look at this thread: http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=134394 If you can find a way to induce a perk menu, it should be pretty clear.
