[Mod request] RP Dice Rolls

I have completed Baldur's Gate 3, and now I want to start a playthrough with three of my friends who have never played the game.

And an idea crossed my mind: why not go full on roleplay and treat this as a real DND experience? Though that would be pretty difficult without full control over the game, we could at least play out and roleplay situations in our heads where the game doesn't allow us to be physical.

 

I would play a role of a half-DM and ask my friends (or myself) to make certain skill rolls in our RP situations, such as persuasion, perception, history, etc.

I was wondering if it's possible to make a mod with abilities, that would use BG3's dice roll system, that would allow us to make on demand dice rolls for those designated skills. It would make my life much more convenient instead of asking players to make those rolls outside the game and then trying to add all the modifiers manually. Set difficulty class to 2 (or 99 to make inspiration possible) and it would be perfect.
