GodKingVivec
When you talk to Jiub about his past he says he was imprisoned in Vivec city for being framed in the murder of a Redoran official, then going on to kill all the cliffracers. How exactly was he on a prison ship coming from the imperial prison in Cyrodill to Morrowind, if he was locked in Vivecs dungeon for his crimes instead of the imperial prison with the nerevarine? Moshadawg
First, a question: When do you ever get the opportunity to talk to Jiub about his reason for imprisonment? You don't ever see him again after the start of the game on the ship, unless I missed something. Second of all, who cares, Jiub is awesome and is capable of amazing feats. Lachdonin
Simple reconciliation. He arrived on the transport from Cyrodiil with the Nerevarine. Sometime after, he gets arrested for the death of a Redoran official. Then he goes on to become everyone's favorite, Cliff-Racer-killing saint. That couldnt be, cuz That all happened during the time when the Nerevarine was fulfilling his/her destiny, and not so long after, red mountain exploded and destroyed morrowind, yet he died at Kvatch. if hedve been locked up anytime after the death of dagoth ur and vivec hedve died in morrowind when vivec died due to the lack of the hearts power keeping the moon afloat above vivec city. End of the third era (ie, Oblivion) is 3E433, so there's 11 years between Morrowind and the Red Mountain exploding. Plenty of time to go to prison and become Saint Jiub. Although arguably a little pointless given the explosion probably would have done the same thing.
GodKingVivec
I suppose, but it doesnt seem long enough to serve a murder sentence and them spend years killing all the cliffracers

It's like, a week. Tops. Life is apparently rather cheap, or jail space is at a premium.
daventry
Theres something bothering me about the Ghost of Jiub at the Soul Cairn, why is he in Ragged Clothing and with Hair, yet he was in Kvatch when he got Murdered and thrown into the Soul Cairn. Now i can understand this is an great Easter Egg and theres even a Mod A Saint Shaved witch Bethesda couldent give 2 Seconds of their time to make Jiub Bald. So what im trying to figure out is, why is Jiub not in Clothes, did he forever walked in Prison Clothes since the day the Player met him and why wont it be allowed for Jiub to grow Hair.
