Aelius28 - Formal warning issued

Aelius28 has received a formal warning. This user has now received 1 formal warnings. The warning was given for the following reason:

Repeatedly trolling mod authors with long-winded complaints or snide remarks posted in the "Official Comment" threads.

Some choice examples:

 

Fair enough... if you are indeed completely uninterested in doing basic things to help a user decide whether or not he might be interested in your mod, you're doing a great job of it.

 

Typically, mod authors would like their mods to reach as many people as would like to have the mod. By not having comparison screenshots, you're effectively making it so that thousands of people won't download the mod who WOULD otherwise download your mod if only they could see what the mod does.

If you don't care if anyone downloads the mod, why are there ANY screenshots at ALL? Clearly, the fact that there are screenshots at all indicates that you want people to download the mod. It's just baffling that you only show the "after" screenshots. After screenshots are meaningless without "before" screenshots

 

makes Skyrim stupidly easy once you're a high level and effectively means the game isn't fun after level 30 or so...

So dumb.

 

Wow, I just read this conversation and am very displeased. I don't like false advertising in my mods. I was about to download this mod, expecting it to do what it SAYS it will do - randomize zone levels to within any limits you set, - only to find out that what it REALLY does is randomize zone levels to within the level limits of the game.

So basically, this mod either makes enemies as tough as they would be in game or WEAKER than that, but not STRONGER.

So much for face-melting bandits. Pfft.

 

If you want to ask a question about a mod because you would like to learn more about it, there are polite ways to do so. You seem to have trouble finding them.

Maybe taking a break will let you gain some manners.
