oiessel
Hi, lemme explain it at my best: i had to ditch certain consecutive saves cause they got corrupted beyond re-saver recovery ability.Fact is: it all starts with a hiccup every 20-30 secs, from there, all the saves after that starts to grow up to double-triple the size of previous saves (from 10 max 20mb to 40 up to 60mb!!) and the game becomes script unresponsive, vendors don't open theyr windows, can't collect /interact with certain stuff, followers ai totally zeroed, savefile f*#@ed beyond re-saver fixes to the point it refuses to open the file(s). o_O Now my question is: it happened twice so far and both times after i left a huge pile of corpses (worldspace loc.) behind me (around 20-30 ghouls in a row), could be that the reason? LarannKiar
Corpses themselves can't cause it. It's most certainly a mod issue. Infinite script loops could be the cause of unresponsiveness but they don't triplicate save sizes. Have you tried leaving a comment on ReSaver's (FallRim Tools) page? Normally I wouldn't recommend this but I this is special case and I remember the author is very helpful with corrupted save files so you may want to try that first. You'll probably need to upload the save too; without seeing the file itself one cannot figure out what's wrong with it. If the problem can't be identified by examinating the save, you may need to disable your mods one by one (or group by group) until you track down the problematic one (which can be pretty difficult if the only symptom is random unresponsiveness). To further investigate, you'll need some modder tools and knowledge (enabling and checking the Papyrus log, etc.). oiessel
Thnx for the reply. sadly, i deleted /overwrited all those saves; they were a waste of space, but if (when? -.- ) it will reoccur, i'll keep a couple of files to share.
