truehomie008
Hello everybody. This is my first time ever writing a forum in the website and hope to hear some intelligent answers from modders with much more experience than mine. I've been modding FNV for quite a while now, using FOMM.Recently, though, I have come across a bug or a glitch or I am not sure what this is but, when I finally gave in and tried to give FOOK a chance, I downloaded the Main File and the patches and this and that and as soon as i fast traveled to goodsprings I get meshes ALL over the ground and really trippy colors. Oh, and also huge red diamonds with exclamation marks. What FOOK would also do to my game was, it changed most of the meshes for carton of cigarettes, ED-E HD HECTROL, and both poco bueno and the NMC Texture pack to its default vanilla ones. I made research on this issue and people of the internet have said that its because I already went over my 140 something plug in count. If this is true, is there any way that theres a mod out there to where I can exceed that count to unlimited or at least a higher number than just 140? I'm using FOMM, BOSS GUI, and FNEdit but I have no clue how to use that. I tried GOPHERS videos on FNEDIT but they are outdated. Again, if theres anybody out there than can lend a helping hand, it would be very, very much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
nivea
Hard cap is actually 255 mod plugins, but the game becomes very unstable after about 150-200. The game also has a hard cap of how many "items" are in your data folder, this includes .esp/.esm/.bsa after a certain amount it causes the game to become unplayable as well. Texture going purple, meshes disappearing, red !, game crashes and save game corruption are all products the issues. So it might not be the esp/esm hard cap but also to many "items" in your data folder, if you have any mods your not using delete the .esp/.esm/.bsa of those mods to save space.
