Windhelm broken after modding

Hope this is the right section to post this.

 

I'm fairly new to modding my game, so I may very well have screwed this up myself, but here goes.

 

After applying a whole bunch of mods to my game, something weird has happened to Windhelm.

 

First off, when I enter the city for the first time, the conversation between Suvaris Atheron and the two Nords harassing her never happens. The three of them just stand there looking at each other, and sometimes even one or two of them are not there at all.

Even worse than this, is none of the vendors allow me to do business with them. This ranges from the smith all the way through to the innkeeper. The all just have generic dialogue and I believe you can question a few on some of their quest related topics.

 

Now I believe that the conversation with Suvaris not happening might be the problem, as the event probably triggers a flag that activates the other npcs correctly.

 

Now I have tried cleaning my mods using BOSS and TESSEDIT5 but that broke my Forstfall mod to a degree that Skyrim crashed to desktop when I boot the game up. So much so I had to uninstall Frostfall and download it again just to get my game working again.

 

What I did then was disable all my mods and started a vanilla new game to see if maybe the core files were damaged somehow, but when I arrive at Windhelm with my vanilla character, the Suvaris event happens like it should, and the city npcs act normally like they should.

 

What I did after that is add my mods again one by one and load my vanilla game before entering Windhelm to see if any of them were the cause. I also started a new game after re-installing all my mods and Wind helm works fine, so it must've been a mod I no longer use that created the error.

 

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Maybe undiscovering Windhelm to reset the town's status or manually starting the conversation between Savuris and the Nords?

Did you ever figure this one out. I'm hanging the exact same issues on Xbox.
