unsure exactly what your problem is due to you not giving the right details, so i shall list stuff.

1. install Fallout3 1.6 update

2. check that the vanilla game works okay.

3. install FOMM

4. install FOSE

5. install ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated and turn it on.

6. install any mods you like but make certain that they are the latest versions of the mods.

7. in your FOMM load order, put all the .esms at the top (FO3 1st) and the .esps at the bottom.

8. check if you still get CTDs

9. if you are, it's probably one of the mods, disable them one at a time to isolate the culprit.

I do have FOMM, updated to 1.6, no clue what or how to use FOSE. I've used FOMS and two validators. Still crashes, and in previous post I did show what order they are in. Still though, I have problems. Help Fallout 3 Modders please.

if youre getting crashes on fast travel, it might be the autosave feature. you could try turning that off and using CASM.

also in your load order, you have to have the unofficial patch after the main fallout.esm (as Verbal Earthworm already mentioned earlier)

Turned off Auto Save but it still CTD's after I attempt to leave Vault 106. Now I'm kinda stuck in a rock and a hard place. Here is the actual mod order, I apologize for what FOMS did. The only reason I have the unofficial patch is to attempt to stop the CTD's.

hmm some of the mods youre using im not familliar with. but luckily you dont have too many, try doing what Verbal Earthworm also said earlier:

disable ALL the mods, just leave the fallout3.esm checked. see if you can exit the vault. if you can, then turn them on, one at a time, until you get the crash again. hopefully this will pin down if its one of the mods. if not, it may be a corrupt save, or something else.

sorry!

i must have kept missing your extra replies (many thanks neunen :) ).

from your pic i see 2 possible culprits (at least they were for me),

these being the unofficial patch and wasteland travellers; both caused me to CTD overmuch,

so much so that i chopped off their heads and went without.

even though we all play FO3, we each play our own personal version/vision of it,

as such, it will always be a compromise between what we want and what works...

keep fiddling, troubleshooting and trial and erroring(?) until you arrive at a happy place.

:)

p.s. about FOSE, you don't need to do anything other than install it, it is a "script extender" that allows many mods to do things with scripts that the vanilla game doesn't have options for. it runs in tandem with FOMM, when installed, the "launch Fallout" button is replaced by "launch FOSE". you need it.
