LinkMasters
Hello. I got Dark and Jims UI yesterday and loaded it up and when I opened up my menu, all the text was mis-aligned, vertically, so I went to the readme to see what the problem was and it said I had the wrong font selected. I presume with the 'Omod Conversion Data' present in the file, I was to make it into an omod, which I did, and it gave me no option or choice on what font to use and is still giving me the same problem. I was using Darnified UI 1.3.1 before trying out this Mod; could that have been the problem? If you need any more info, just ask. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
dezdimona
I believe that mod comes with multiple options, did you choose the option you wanted to install and then remove those you did not?
LinkMasters
That would be the Darnified UI mod, not Dark and Jims Mod. [if I'm wrong, sorry <_<] Dark and Jims Mod I had to make into an Omod myself using OBMM, and it didn't give me options on what to use and what not to use when I activated it. XJDHDR
What is your game's resolution set to? I think I read that any resolution below 1024x768 can cause problems. Custom/ non-standard resolutions might fall into this category too.
LinkMasters
I run it as 800x600. Anything higher [1024x786 may be pushing it, but I'll try it] and it will bog my rig down some. My comp specs are appropriate for Oblivion on low-medium settings but it's kinda old and I'm sure there's some stuff cluttering it up to slow it down, but I'll try it out. Custom/ non-standard resolutions might fall into this category too.I DL'd and installed this mod to check it out. My graphics setting is way above what your saying. I also added the patch and experienced the same problem as the OP. Fortunately I make a copy of my data file before adding any type of game changing mod.Hope the OP did so as well
XJDHDR
There must be a problem with the mod itself then. Maybe downloading a different version would help? Otherwise, one might have to try a different UI mod. I must confess though, I once installed the Darnified UI onto my PC running at 640x480 and I had that problem too. I blamed it on the resolution, but maybe the problem runs deeper.
LinkMasters
Yeah, I tried it at 1024x768 and then at 1152x768 and both gave the same problem. And you don't have to make a backup I think with this mod, as De-Activating it removes the files from the game and turns it back to vanilla. You mentioned using earlier/different versions; Do you know where I could get one at?
