Prenihility
I disabled both bMusicEnabled and bSoundEnabled, no dice. I mean...wouldnt it suck IF that was the problem, since putting in a new sound card in my computer isn't an option for me. No more PCI slots are available. Qwaxalot
You may be having a problem with background processes. (Used page file size for Vista computers should be between 700 & 1000MB, your's is 1833MB) A Clean boot (a totally reversible process) can help by clearing all unneeded processes, then test the game. If the game now runs better, you can use task manager to locate offending processes.
Prenihility
What do you mean by background processes? I have already tried disabling all services running in the background though, by typing in "msconfig". Is that what you mean. I dont know how to disable the background processes. Ah, nevermind, didnt see you're link there. There's a bit of a problem. When i click on "Load Startup items" It does not prompt me to restart my computer once i hit "Ok". Also, when i click on "Load startup items" the checkbox turns solid blue? Does that indicate that it is "Disabled"?
