anyone have this problem? a quick freez when music changes

I have just noticed this problem on my game:

during a fight, whenever I deliver the FINAL hit to an enemy (the hit that kills him), I noticed that the game freeze or stop for a very short time (less than a sec) then it resume normally.

this problem occures only when I fight a SINGLE enemy or when I kill the LAST enemy when fighting a group of them.

I have disabled and then removed all the mods.. I even uninstalled & reinstalled oblivion without any mods but without success.

At last I found out the problem is caused by the game music .. that is is when I kill an enemy on a single fight or the last enemy of a group, the game music changes from battle music to the regular music. at that moment the freeze occurs (well It is not actually a freeze because it is not slowing, crashing or affecting the game. it happens very quickly but it is noticeable & irritating)

to make sure I removed all the musics from the battle folder and the problem has gone.. and returned when I put the musics back..

So can anyone please tell me what to do

4 GB RAM

Vista 64

EVGA 790i SLI

Creative X-fi Xtreme music

 

note: I've installed Oblivion & tried my save on another hard drive on the same PC & on my brother's PC.. well... the same :wallbash:

I have not played oblivion for more than a year so I can't remember if had this before or not.

first you don't need to remove the mucis files,in the .ini you can change the setting
