lol, i have no idea wth MMM is and 1/2 the stuff u said i dont really know how to do. i just got into this a few days ago XP. Do u have windows remote assist or something to give me a hand cuze idk how the heck to do this at all.

Never did a windows assist, is that like a way we could look at the files you had to

 

see what was causing the evil red ! error

 

 

Don't worry when I just got fallout 3 I played it for a month before I even knew it had mods.

 

It was great, no problems, just flat out chalenge guns an gameplay.

 

LOL I didn't even patch it. Then I found nexus an spent a few weeks not knowing anything.

 

To tell the truth I really don't know that much now. But hey, that's everybody pretty much.

 

 

 

MMM is Mart's Mutant Mod, it increases the spawns

 

Lots of options, for one there's two versions of the increase

 

one called increased spawns, the other increased increased

 

I think it's 1-3 and 2-5 so each enemy npc is a 1 where MMM will make

 

it a random number so by the first increased spawns that 1 npc becomes up to 3

 

but it's random, sometimes it will be 2 or 3 or just 1

 

The kicker though is that sometimes a spawn is 5 enemy npc's

 

Where with MMM those 5 could turn into up to 15, LOL

 

and that is just the low setting version

 

By using the increased increased then the 5 could turn into 25

 

All shooting at you, lolz

 

 

MMM is huge, there are many new textures for the enemy NPC's making them

 

all look unique in color size ect, plus a few brand new enemy types

 

 

MMM will tax your system depending on how many enemys it adds

but what is good is that you can edit all the numbers, plus there is

like 15 or so optional .esp files that come with it

 

 

After the last update on MMM it's become really interesting, It was totally awesome before

 

There is stuff in there now that makes me just flat out never want to go out at night

 

or go underground for the matter

 

 

 

FOOK is short for fallout overhawl kit, There are a lot of overhawls, and some even charge a fee

to use, FOOK 1.6 is free though. Basicly the best work of over 80 different modders.

maybe 120-150 new guns, tons of clothing, tons of other great stuff assembling a poopton

worth of little great mods into one vastly huge mod.

 

 

 

I've installed Fallout 3, 3 different times, each time I got a little better at putting mods in

As well as keeping things orgainized, avoiding conflicts, better patches.

 

First time I downloaded like 80 mods, no patch, it worked after a few days

but crashed a lot

 

Second time was based off the 1.0.35 patch and the UltimateLoadOrder mod

which is just a sort of guide to installing a poop ton of pretty good mods

but ULO is outdated somewhat, but the mods should still be good

also it doesn't cover stuff like patches. Second time I ended up with a

better install thanks to Ultimate load order, but I had a lot of things I didn't

want, as well as even more crashes than the first time, because of the patch

I used and not knowing how to install stuff great yet maybe 120 mods

 

Third time I took what I had learned in the Ultimate load order, and applyed

it, first learning what I could about patches an picking the patch I wanted to use

Which was 1.5 plus FO3 master update, because of the hands off straghforward

It just seemed more easy, worked great too. I got more of the stuff that I really

wanted an not so much the other stuff. As well as a few key mods that really

bring out the fallout world I had never tried. LOLZ I ended up with like 150 mods

But then started making mods myself an didn't really play fallout much because

I was too busy making stuff.

 

Below is the load order I use now. I could probably make a even better one next time.

Some of this stuff is already included in the large mods, but it's hard to figure that part out.

It's all pretty much stuff I knew I wanted to use, where ultimate load order some of the

stuff just wasn't important to me, but then in this load out I don't have Enlcave comander

which is great, I just didn't have time, an have not really used it anyway.

Also it's not perfect, just what I ended up with after I got tired of working on it.
