Dantw2
It would be awesome if there was a mod that makes the nearest undiscovered location show on compass so that we could easily find every marked location in Skyrim. Here is an example of what I mean. For example, if you are near Riften and have discovered every marked location except the Guardian Stones, the guardian stones would show up on your compass. If there was another undiscovered location near Markarth, it would not show up on you r compass until you were closer to it than any other undiscovered locations. An alternative to this would be a mod that either makes a quest that points to the nearest undiscovered location. I am not sure how difficult it would be to create such mods. Has someone already made any mods like that?
anjenthedog
Atlas Map markers shows nearby locations. If they haven't been discovered, it shows them in "ghost" mode (ie, outline, rather than a filled icon, as is the case for discovered locations. the most nearby will show as the largest icon. IFF you have configured Atlas to show disparity and adjusted your discovery distances. So, not *exactly what you're looking for but maybe close. Dantw2
I already have Atlas, I will look into the settings. Atlas is a great mod but adds more map markers, so just increasing the distance that all locations show up would probably make the compass a mess. I wonder if there is a way to make only undiscovered locations show up at a greater distance while making discovered locations show up at a normal distance. anjenthedog
idk. if not, I suppose you might add a request for improvement on Atlas's mod page... frankly, it sounds like a good idea to me.
