Best methods to switch from another mod mgr TO Vortex

Using Vortex v1.9.7 question for FO76 mod managers - but more specifically a Vortex question,

 

I would like to switch from FO76 Quick Config to Vortex - what is the recommended method to switch to Vortex?

 

Please confirm or comment on the following method

 

In order to switch mod managers - first delete all installed mods from FO76 and re-install with Vortex - is it that simple ?

You might only need to install Vortex, switch to the Games tab, search for FO76 and then select it. There is a chance that Vortex will recognize mods you already have installed in the FO76 game directory. If not, then yes, you have to delete the mods and re-install.

Jaydawh55 thank you for your response - yes I was hoping this might work but it didn't - each mod manager had different defaults so it looks like uninstall then reinstall Ive used Quick Config for years but it appears the dev is no longer active - another example of going with a small dev was not a good thing
