gloomyr666
Hi guys. I have standart Hight rezolution textures from Betsheda. But have question - is there any textures pack which looks better and dont hurt FPS at all, like this High Rez textures??? Or they are the same good as nexus textures(according to same perfomance)
Rusey
Yes. If you're looking for no additional performance hit, avoid Skyrim HD. The amidianborn stuff offers lower-rez versions of their textures and Tamriel Reloaded is performance friendly. Those two are just off the top of my head, but you can always look through the Models and Textures category on Nexus and see what catches your eye. BlackRoseOfThorns
You can use Bethesda texture pack and put on top of it preferred custom textures. Any loose files in your Skyrim/Data (/Textures) will override vanilla or dlc content. If it's .esp file load it last. HiRes pack in contrary to believes does not retexture everything, so you still may want some texture mods for true HD experience. Some authors offer their work in low (512) / mid (1k) / high (2k) / ultra (4-8k) resolutions. With decent computer you can get high to ultra textures for interiors and dungeons. I would suggest 1k for landscape + performance ENB + lightning mod (ELFX/RLO) for decent fps and great experience. As nice as Hires pack seem at first glance it offers poor _n.dds files making everything flat. You can look for mods offering BUMP for vanilla textures or get new high quality packs.
