Stuck at 'Loading Extensions'

When starting Vortex, it hangs on 'Loading Extensions' bar. No progress is made. No errors occur (I left it for several hours).
I have reinstalled C++.

I have run as administrator.

I have reinstalled Vortex.

I have allowed Vortex through security.

I have seen the common solutions post about the error message for failing to load extensions.

 

Does anybody have suggestions for what to poke at next?

I'm not sure what actually solved this, but it's working again. The only other thing I did was to shut down and turn off the power at the power strip. Perhaps that forced C++ to figure itself out.

I had the same problem, and after reading your post, I tried going into my Windows settings and selecting Modify -> Repair for every C++ component installed, then restarting, which fixed it right away.
