Balorawn
Hello, my name is Balorawn. I've mainly leeched mods from this site and never gave anything back, but I would like to give it a shot in producing mods myself. I've modified several other games in the past, but I would love to get into Oblivion modding, and possibly Fallout 3 modding. I'm an honest person, and I just say things how I see them. If you talk to me and you are offended by me in anyway, don't take it in such a negative manner. I'm usually cheerful and sarcastic about things, but they come off the wrong way to some people. I've modified games like Halo 2, KoTOR 1 and 2, Fable TLC, GTA San Andreas. The only reason I haven't attempted modifying Oblivion is because well, this site is so... overwhelming when it comes to finding the proper tools. I'm not sure if it's against the rules or not to ask for anyone to suggest any tools for modification, but I'd love it it someone would recommend something towards me so I don't get put off by the huge utilities section. Thanks for reading my little pathetic introduction. --- Balorawn

bben46
Welcome to the TesNexus. The various modding tools are readily available and are often discussed here. Start with the Construction set - It is needed to get anything into the game, and for some simple mods is all you need. The when you find something you want to do that is beyond the CS, ask for a tool to do what you want to do. For most there are free alternatives to expensive commercial products. Yes, I know of alternatives. I use Blender and GIMP for modeling and textures.
