Osprey88
For all of you Final Fantasy fans, I'll be uploading a very high quality Sephiroth into Oblivion. I wasn't very happy with the one currently available so decided to make my own rendition of my favorite character. I'm very new to modding - only been dabbling around in the construction set for about a month. However, I've learned to model, texture, and I will be learning how to animate and script for the purposes of this mod and those I release after this. My specialty will most likely be high-resolution character recreations, as I have more characters planned after this one. The mod will feature: A small quest (i'm not one to throw characters foreign to TES lore into the game without doing anything to explain it - expect an attempt at an explanation similar to the one Squaresoft gave when they threw Cloud in Final Fantasy Tactics) Custom voice Custom graphics across the board (as you can see, I've already done a custom hair mesh and texture, a custom face texture, and a custom eye texture. I'm going to do the armor, since I think that was the worst part of the currently available Sephiroth mod, an entirely new Masamune and maybe a few other things) Custom animations for idle weapon poses, spells, an entirely new fighting style, perhaps some idle poses, and any poses relevant to the quest I plan to include and develop after release A custom companion script designed just for my character releases And anything else I decide to throw in before I release it. Here's the screenshots. So far only the hair, face and eyes are done, so expect this one to take a bit. (images taken out until I upload updated screenshots - expect them in 24 hours or less)
Osprey88
As an update, I'm all done with the armor model and textures. The below screenshots are just from nifskope, so expect things to look far better when the normal maps and Oblivion's HDR lighting is applied to the model. Now it's time to go learn how to weight paint and rig. Anychance you can do some of thisfor fallout 3? The hair is extremely awesome!
Osprey88
I'd be glad to port the completed mod (besides oblivion-specific things like any scripting or whatnot) as best as I can after completion. By the way, sorry about the deleted images - I'm redoing everything including the hair - I'll be sure to upload more pictures when that's done (right now I've hit a bit of a snag in making the armor work though)
