[Mod Request] Stranded Deep - Not So Hot?

There's one factor to Stranded Deep that seems to prevent me from sticking with the game. The heat factor. It's not really a bad feature, just kind of annoying that it decreases so slowly after the heat meter builds up. Takes like 5 mins or more of swimming rather far out into the ocean, and deep enough to start decreasing the heat meter. I'm surprised no one has posted a standalone modifier for it. Not sure if it's just not easily accessible or modified due to the game's structure or if it might be covered already in a multi-cheat mod that I overlooked. Anyways, hoping someone might be up to the challenge. Thanks!
