viper641
Hi i was wondering if anyone had made or possibly found a way to run these two mods together, i love both of them and when i run them together they are extremely fun the only problem is fallout crashes after awhile because they are not compatible. i have checked both mods to see if they have done anything to make them compatible but i haven't found anything so if anyone out there found a way to run them together or has an idea on how to i would greatly appreciate your help. october21
I can't see any reason for these two mods to be incompatible in any way. Are you sure it's one of these mods causing the crashes? And even if it is one of them, the other doesn't necessarily have anything to do with it.
viper641
I reckon it's loot lists idk though I didn't think MMM ran anything like that You could use the old stand alone version of MMM It's just a .esp plug in but yeah old What led you to think they conflict, I haven't read the read me's for them in a while? i had just those two running and the regular fallout.esm file and it would always crash, i dont know i have a feeling it has something to do with the list that creatures get their items from when they spawn but i could be wrong, in all honesty i have no idea about anything to do with modding so im just shooting in the dark with that guess but thanks for the advice. im trying to get mmm and fook to run together now but it crashes every time i quick save so im just going to stick with that and try and figure out wats wrong with it but thanks again for the help
mechine
Idk, You put MMM at the bottom right? Fook Goes after the .esm because FOOK is huge 20th Cent weapons is great yeah, but it messes with the lists making it incompatable with things So yeah there is at least one red flag of a reason why it would be incompatable The question is though do the other mods you have do the same thing or change the same thing The read me for 10th Cent weapons should tell what causes a conflict. I mean I'm with the other guy, they should work together. I haven't tried it though. You could try using FO3edit to view them, and also apply a master update The master update part of FO3edit is for patches 1.5 an 1.6 I think though But say if you did have patch 1.5 an 1.6 but without the master update part it may cause mod problems like you are having. Idk I mean when I used master update it allowed things to work together that shouldn't have. Something else, MMM puts tax on the system, which causes the drop in frame rate when you run around fast in the wasteland, You should notice it an either turn MMM down with edits or just stop an wait for a moment to let the system catch up, avoiding the crash You may want to follow the tweek guide to turn some of your settings down too some you can turn down to half without even noticing it http://www.tweakguides.com/Fallout3_8.html it's old, but writen well, an pretty detailed. You also have to go inside and wait for 4 days with MMM the first time you run it Respawns are every 3-4 days, so hence the wait to spawn the new textures an spawns in MMM Post up yer load order so we can see what you're trying to do. If you crash before the games load screen then it's a load order problem red flag outside in the wasteland it could crash for many reasons can't really think of anything else
