staging folder Cannot fix mod deployment. Vortex loops the staging folder.

Hello, I'm having an issue with [The Sims 4] Vortex stating "Mods can't be deployed." upon [Vortex] startup.

Note: The game *IS INSTALLED* on the G: drive, and runs fine without Vortex.

 

Vortex tells me to set the Staging Folder to the Game Drive C: (not the correct drive).

If I actually set the Staging Folder to C:, on restart Vortex tells me to set the Staging Folder to the Game Drive G: [the correct drive].

I set the Staging Folder to G:, on restart Vortex tells me to set the Staging Folder to the Game Drive C:, Again.

An endless loop.

 

I've Uninstalled Vortex, deleted the Vortex folder on Drive C: and Reinstalled.

I've uninstalled The Sims 4, and reinstalled on G:.

 

This all started with the new update from [EDITED] electronic arts.

 

On research, I thought a game extension needed updating; it's been a couple weeks, and no solution.
