Immersive Attribute Checks

The Technical Attribute checks in the world (bypassing locks, etc.) are boring and lackluster.  Adding an animation like the successful Power Attribute check sounds like a bit of a nightmare so got me thinking, what if it just costs a certain number of components of a certain tier based on the difficulty level of the lock to successfully bypass it?

That got me thinking, what if other Attribute checks had a cost or some other more significant hit?

Any thoughts or concerns or further ideas?
