Question how to: Duplicate armor to a different slot?

Hi all, first post on the forums!

So my question is:

What would be the easiest way to duplicate a piece of armor from a mod (let's say Basket Full of Equipment) to get one in a different slot as the other?

I can duplicate items( i just conjure multiple baskets), and i can make an item go to a different slot (with some simple armor.txt editing via Modders Multitool), but now of course both duplicate items are both available for the same slot.

Do i really need to make a new item using extraction, file-ID generation, putting it in a container, packing it to a new .pak etc. basically making a "mod" (.pak) myself.

OR

Can i just do a simple edit of a .txt or lsf/lsx file (with the Modders Multitool) and just have a slightly edited version of the BasketFullofEquipment.pak

OR

Something completely different?

I don't have the intention to publicize it so only for my own use.
