when downloading mods on to vortex from nexusmods, the download does not complete and this error message pops up.

Servermessage: invalid_grant

For future reference... log in to the Vortex app too. Both the site and the app require you to be logged in to give permission to download mods.

 

i feel pretty dumb now.. can you just delete this post >.<

FOR ANYONE ELSE HAVING THIS PROBLEM: Yes, but also make sure you're logged into the same browser that Vortex is trying to use. Make sure your default browser is the *right* default browser. I was logged into Nexus on Chrome, and Chrome is my default browser, but not for... *all* file types apparently? Didn't notice until I hit the profile icon (top right in Vortex app) and it opened an Edge webpage where I was NOT logged in...

It's always the stupid things that hurt the most when you figure it out
