Daytime/Nighttime for Blade and Sorcery Nomad

Every time I load into Blade & Sorcery: Nomad I love that the map at the load screen is at night. I was wondering if it would be possible, and not too difficult, to create a mod that makes the gameplay at night as well? I love doing the dungeon crawl and thought it would be fun if when you go through a part of the map that's outside to have it dark and need the use of torches and bonfires for light. I could see it being fun for the other maps and game modes as well, and if a map didn't quite have enough light then maybe more torches or bonfires could be added to brighten it up a little!
