Starting to mod/ Wanting to

I   have  a  programming  background and im  looking to  get into it mainly for palworld if there is anyone that can  justt guide me in the right direction.

I'm also a programmer / work as a programmer and I want to create my own mods, by I can't open the Palworld extracted assets on UE5  Perhaps we'll have to wait for the workshop.
