A few mod ideas I think would be cool.

Blood/gore: where you shoot them they should bleed and when one butchers a pal there should be a gruesome non blurry animation to go with it

 

Dismemberment: pals with broken limbs that go untreated should be able to lose said limb, aswell as through combat to make sure you gotta be a little more careful while bringing their hp down.

 

Captured humans renamed to slaves by default: because they are.

 

Flyers that fly: they don't need to be falling out of the sky upon stamina depletion, they should work more like they do on the ground, where going fast depletes stamina and moving slowly restores it.

 

Less gruesome visible signs of injuries:, for those squeemish types that still want more immersion. 

 

New pals: because why not,

 

Faster mounts: the mounts are all very slow, this can be fixed I would bet.

 

New skeletons for animations: heard its a problem, skyrim had a solution for a similar problem, why can't palworld? (Add possible human skeletons for each aswell for the eventual palgirl mods)

 

Better hud/more easily accessible inventory: because there's always a better one so someone might aswell get on it already. 

 

More variants of arrows: best based on certain pal powers, not too op but better than fire arrows. 

 

A punishment system: for pals that don't wanna work. This can include devices, placeable objects in base for them to be either trapped in or tied to, or whatever floats your boat

 

Drugs: for pals to cultivate and create and for you / them to use, and an addiction system
