Ideas for good Durge

I'm going to do a good durge run from lvl 1-20, but i'm not sure what to play. For those who already played good durge, or for those who have a nice lvl 20 build i would love to hear those ideas.

I had a *blast* using the Surgeon mod with a myrkul deity, and double-classing Necromancer. Valkrana's mod also made it feel super realistic.

I also used the Plus Origins mod to ahem! populate my camp with the "ghosts of the past" as it were.
