birdy2083 Posted February 4 Share Posted February 4 After playing the game for a few hours straight, my buddy and I noticed that the game was beginning to suffer in terms of FPS drops, actual freezing, and even a couple of CTD events on my end. Now, my rig isn't going to have anyone gaping in awe of it, but my buddy has a $1500 graphics card that shouldn't have such issues. After a bit of poking around, I've learned there may be an issue with the game not cleaning up after itself in terms of VRAM, or perhaps not doing a good job of it. Could someone produce a mod that will do this? I'm not even enough of a coder to know what to call such an operation, but I can clearly see the game needs it for those longer sessions. Or is this a case of an untouchable memory leak whose only recourse is to shut-down and restart to clean out the memory? Even if it's not possible, or something the modding community is deciding to leave for the Devs to attempt to tackle first (in consideration of the game's Alpha state), I'd appreciate hearing back on this.
