Ice Enthusiast Proposing Frost Weapons and Freezing Smite

As the title says; Frost Weapons would be cool. Freezing Smite would be better. Perhaps a Frost weapon with freezing smart.

I think someone should make a versatile phalar aluve style long sword. Something that is finesse like phalar aluve.

The weapon would do similar damage, maybe even have a way to upgrade to a legendary version. But would general come with an additional 1d4 of ice damage. and grant the wielder something like the Frost Bite Blade cantrip I've seen modded and Freezing smite. Which would take up an action and a bonus action. And maybe cone of snow, which could only be used once per short rest.

The weapon would have the chance to chill  and slow opponents. 

Freezing Smite as a move would slow opponents and encase them in ice for round, like the rime's binding ice.
