Reason Our moderation policy is being applied according to our Terms of Service, not according to annoyance at another mod being competitive for Mod of the Month. Terms of Service Violations: Consistently breaking solicitation rules, despite multiple times contacting the author to remove these ToS violations: “We allow for a tactful discussion of donations and endorsements (such as thanking users for their contributions) in file descriptions. Actively soliciting either donations or endorsements, however, is prohibited and may be subject to moderation at the discretion of staff.” Public complaints about moderation: “Complaints against staff action should not be voiced publicly and doing so may result in a formal warning or account suspension.” The continual Terms of Service violations resulting from this conflict regarding Mod of the Month is completely against the spirit of promoting the quality work done by mod authors. In the interests of fairness and to prevent any further Terms of Service violations in pursuit of winning MotM, any further infractions will result in the infringing mod being removed.
