Drop rate mod

Hello!

I am currently doing a self-imposed challenge run that forces me to go through all the weapon upgrades before I can move onto a new weapon type, same for gear. In other words, I have to get all the Old Bow schematics and craft them in order before I can move onto Crossbow and so on. As it stands, the alpha pals only drop the legendary version (schematic 4) of their respective item, so I have to rely on locked world chests for all the ones before that. Based on the database websites I've found, dungeon chests (the ones at the end) don't even drop the Old Bow schematics and only the gear pieces. While it is a self-imposed challenge this is quite frustrating after having opened about a hundred locked copper chests with no epic schematic so far.

I can't seem to find a mod that directly lets me affect the Alpha Pal drops. Personally it'd be great if I could simply add all the schematics of a weapon type to their legendary Alpha Pal. So that would mean Kingpaca would drop Schematic 1-4 of Old Bow, Chillet would drop Schematic 1-4 of Cloth Armor and so on. I don't want the drop rate to be crazy, and I don't want to improve the legendary drop rate. I was thinking that since the legendary schematics are rumored to be a 3% drop, the epic one could be a 6%, rare 12% and the uncommon one 24%. That way world chest farming is still good for money and the alternate gear pieces, like the temperate variants that has no boss pal to drop them, but I am not entirely reliant on the chests for the overall progression either.

Could someone explain to me how I make a mod for this, or perhaps make one for me? I have nothing against learning how to make this stuff myself, but I don't even know where to start. I think others wanting to do a progression challenge would appreciate a mod like this also!
