Doom Eternal Mod, "Plasma Rifle Enhanced" doesn't appear to be updated for the most recent game update.

The Doom Eternal mod, "Plasma Rifle Enhanced" by ModMadder, appears to not be working as intended with the most recent update for Doom Eternal. The mod states the damage will be doubled for one of the guns in the game, called the plasma rifle, once the mod is installed. But I've tested the damage for both the unmodded and modded  plasma rifle and the damage is pretty much the same. I tried getting in contact with the mod creator through the posts section of the mod, but he hasn't responded. If anyone knows how to get in contact with him, please notify him that nexus member "LilTristoGaming" (That's me) has sent a reply to him about the mod not working. Thanks for any help given.
