Megamanco
Hi, after several days attempting to fix this by myself I give up and ask for help to see where am I doing wrong, I currently have a large but not insane amount of mods, 290 mods plus all the creation club crap to be precise, I already cleaned all the dirty plugins that came with the AE update and according to LOOT I don't have any error or warning related to my mods, the first time I did a lot of changes while was still playing and spamming auto saves all the time like some kind of caveman jackass and ended up having a lot of bugs and CTDs due to my my recklessness so I deleted all evidence of its existence and started over with a new fresh character, this time around it was going perfect, everything was working like Swiss clockwork until I was in the 8th or 9th hour in the game, as I mentioned before in the title, I didn't play all that much in one shot, instead I played that in two parts, I mention it just because some people say that playing too much in one shot lead to CTDs, so like I was saying, I was in Morthal becoming a Thane and giving Lydia a new friend to drag my bones with but all the moment went to an abrupt end when I teleported us to the Whiterun stables because it crashed, then I re-loaded the game and went somewhere else and also crashed, I tested sleeping and waiting as well and ended up with the same results but all the crash logs pointed at different suspects and based on my previous experiences disabling them and testing wasn't going to help because none of the mods is the actual cause of my crashes, so in an attempt to quite literally save my game I rolled back before I even started any quest in Morthal and then I decided to avoid it like the plague because that settlement is very buggy based on my other experiences, and it worked! I was finally over that event and this time I stayed on the main quest line but again after I did the quest of the Thalmor Embassy party and all my happiness went to an abrupt end when the problems came back and now I don't want to roll back again because it will happen one more time and even if I could save it this time I would be unable to make the stupid main quests the intended way and I will have to use console commands like some loser. I just want to add that the second time I only used manual save files and I disabled all the auto save features in the game and forbid myself from spamming F5 any time I was in front of a chest or sneaking to open a door, I also added a mod called ¨ Skyrim SafeSave System Overhaul 2 - Auto Save manager with optional Safety Check Rotating system Hardcore mode¨ in order to help me to keep my save files safe from corruption but it looks like it wasn't enough, I'm not blaming the mod, I suspect I did something wrong with my mods and that's why it ends up corrupting after a certain point. This is my current mods list: CLICK HERE. This is my SkyrimPrefs.ini configuration: CLICK HERE. This is the setup where I'm currently playing Skyrim: AMD Ryzen 5 4600G 3.9Ghz 8GB DDR4 @3200Mhz AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics (Renoir) 512Gb Kingston SATA SSD I'm not like those guys offering money for a solution because I'm broke lol, but I hope someone can lend me a hand with this issue since I'm tired of starting a new game any time and I don't want to delete all my mods and start over with it, I will appreciate any help and thanks in advance. melvinius
Also take a look at your save file sizes over time. They should be relatively stable over time, increasing little by little. If you see a large sudden jump in file size, you've got save game bloat caused by a faulty mod, this is a major cause of later-game crashing and instability. You also want to only keep ~50 saves or less in your save folder, move the older ones out of the folder or delete them. Too many saves can slow or crash your game, and if you uninstall mods mid-game (poor practice) this can also crash your game when the engine scans the saves and finds a missing mod dependency.
