melvinius
SKSE can be installed via Steam if I recall. It sounds like something auto updated via Steam, whether main install or just SKSE to new version initially. This either caused your SKSE plugins to be incompatible with new version of SKSE, or your SKSE to become incompatible with your version of Skyrim (sounds like the former to me though). I would not recommend ever installing SKSE via Steam or allowing Steam to update Skyrim. I always delete Steam launch links to modded games and create direct shortcuts instead. Change update options in Steam also, to "only update when I launch." I've had perfect installs of modded Bethsoft games ruined by automatic updates.
GreybeardRanger
As near as I can figure, something happened after an antivirus/malware scan that Skyrim didn't like. I'm still tracking down exactly what that is.

I finally had to downgrade to previous SKSE version. Working so far.

I haven't gone that route....yet. What I did was disable ALL mods, then slowly re-enable them one at a time. So far, 118 mods re-enabled, no error message. Will let y'all know when I finally get this figured out.
