Invisible Sheath

Hello, Can someone please make a mod to the game asterigos curse of the stars, to make the metallic back sheath invisible or very small ?
because it is annoying & block the nice view of the character.

I know of one, but it's not distributed standalone and requires hex-editing a game binary to make the modified asset load.

Unsure if I'd be allowed to share that, but I can look into it if you're still seeking a solution.
