Help With Ricos Yelling Cops Mod (Ready Or Not)

So all of the audio files that you get from Ricos Yelling Cops Mod are all pre-release, and therefor are in .wav format, and wont work in the post 1.0 release, what i notice is that the TOC mod i have still uses basically copy and pasted audio, but in a OGG file, would converting the .wav MP3 sounds from the Ricos Yelling Cops Mod to OGG files and then replacing them like normal allow them to play? and if not, whats the best course of action to do so, as I've deleted all my standard voice lines from vanilla and dont plan on re-installing the entire game lmfao
