brokengame skip Taking independence Fallout 4.

My taking independence mission broke and wont let me continue, and i cant go back because my game auto deleted my previous saves. A mod i downloaded for the castle is what broke the mission. it says clear out the courtyard but nothing is in the courtyard. I searched the whole entire castle, even around it and there was still nothing. i even uninstalled the mod but it did nothing and because i cant complete the mission i cant use the castles workshop. a mod or something to skip this quest would be much appreciated.
