[Mod Request] Spells & Secrets Console Enabler

Hopefully I am doing this right, I tried to dig through the forum a bit to make sure I follow any rules and I also didn't see anything else about this game even after searching. It doesn't seem like anyone is interested in modding this game or maybe the devs did a good job at making it a pain to do so? I'm fairly tech-savy, but I'm not a programmer or designer, etc. As in, I can read and look at a .dll file, sure, but I just barely know what I am looking at let alone how to edit one or make a mod without a detailed guide, etc. (I've got a neurological condition that affects some of my cognitive abilities, so sometimes information processing isn't something my brain likes to do properly). 

Point being. I've skimmed enough of the game files to know there's some console commands in there, but even after googling around a ton i haven't found anything about how to enable the console/keep the console from being blocked off. I found a trainer or cheat engine table here or there on some sketchy sites, sure, but I'd really prefer not to use those. Is there anyone out there that would be willing to take a glance at this one and see if enabling console is do-able? Either throw together a mod for me or even maybe walk me through how to do it myself? I know it's just a silly dungeon-crawler type, but again, due to my disability I can't really keep up with what's expected from players sometimes and it really kills my ability to play and enjoy games when I can't tweak the difficulty for myself a bit.
