Hendrickx
I have the Battlehorn Castle, and since I am new at modding, I thought that I would just start out by creating a simple NPC for battlehorn castle. I just decided to create an seargeant for the barracks. The problem is, I can create my NPC and then I drag it into my render window, etc. It all looks fine, but when I save it and then try to run it, my oblivion doesn't start. I have looked at the mod, and since it adds to Battlehorn Castle, it should need both Oblivion.esm and DLCBattlehornCastle.esp as parents, how do I set the DLCBattlehornCastle as a parent? I thought it would do it automatically seeing as I have to load both oblivion.esm and DLCBattlehornCastle.esp when I open the construction set so that I can create my NPC. But it just doesn't want to set DLCBattlehornCastle as a parent. How do I do this??
PacificMorrowind
you have to use mod deisolation to master to esp. one of the most irritating things that beth did. Pacific Morrowind
Vagrant0
you have to use mod deisolation to master to esp. one of the most irritating things that beth did. Pacific MorrowindThey really had no other option given how these mods are bought extras, and they did not intend anyone to add to or change these mods. Merging it with the Oblivion.esm, or as a stand-alone .esm would come with its own problems.
PacificMorrowind
no wasn't suggesting merging/distributing them as an esm. the thing beth did that I find irritating is having to esmify and the re-espify to change an esp from another esp; I think they should have allow you to just add esp masters same as an esm master in the cs.Pacific Morrowind
Hendrickx
Thanks, doesn't sound easy for a beginner, I might just leave that change for now (it isn't really worth it), handy information to know for the future, I had this vision of vastly expanding the Battlehorn Story to provide much more depth and history. Oh well, I guess it is back to learning for me!!
