Skyrim AE - Scar AI Combos Revolution doesn't work in my game

So, i downloaded mco and scar and all that jazz, but for some reason Scar isn't working at all, NPC's will only do one attack and won't do combos at all. I have both the OG mod and the AE support, and i followed this tutorial (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/77285?tab=posts) that everyone swears up and down fixed their problem, but it didn't work for me at all (because of course it didn't, that would be too easy.) and now i'm pretty much lost. This mod has been a huge pain to get working and nothing i tried has worked:/ does anyone have any advice?

-SCAR AE support overwrites original SCAR.
-I tried installing SCAR with or without "default animation pack".
-Tried again placing the files from SCAR AE into original SCAR manually.
-Ran Nemesis without SCAR patch, then with. Did the same after reinstalling all 3 mods. Still didn't work.
