Scarrwith2Rs Posted May 16 Share Posted May 16 The current system reloads your weapon with a quick tap of the R key. Anyone using Plasma Core or Ultracite Cores will know the pain when you try to "aoe loot" and the game instead reloads on you and swaps out your current ammo core. To those that do not know, these weapon cores have a finite amount of charge/ammo, you cannot recharge them and when you "reload" the core gets put into the bottom of your inventory to be used later. So if this happens to you a lot, you will end up with a high number of cores that can have any random amount of actual shots/ammo left in them, which can be a nightmare and a huge waste of time for the plasma/ultracite gun users. There may be a better solution, please speak up if you can think of one, but if we can apply a length of time requirement to the "reload" keypress, then that should save a lot of those wasted reloads on the cores.
