Nexusmods app closing down after new version popup

For some reason since today the app after startup is asking for me to either reinstall or uninstall all my mods, if i press cancel the entire app closes down. It started after a trace log error which closed the app,  these sporadically happen but havent been much of a problem until now. Im using an older beta, which has worked fine for me in what by now should be years. I dont need updates, nor do i want to have all my mods reinstalled or uninstalled.  Id like my current version to work without such instrusive popups. How can i fix this?
