Vortex falsely reporting a mod as redundant

I had a problem with SkyUI just now with the Favorites menu not showing up. When I checked my MCM, SkyUI was not listed in it. I went to reinstall SkyUI, and Vortex told me it was redundant after I reinstalled SkyUI and prompted me to disable it. I did, but then Vortex told me that another mod that depends on SkyUI was reporting it as missing.

I checked my Vortex installation. I only have one installation of SkyUI. *just* One. So Vortex was correctly telling me it was missing when disabled, but falsely telling me it was redundant when Enabled. I have a feeling this is related to why SkyUI's MCM wasn't showing up in-game.

Screenshots were taken after I re-enabled SkyUI.

This problem is new, and I've run SkyUI on prior saves with no issue even with both of the above pathes/mods installed.

Came to add another symptom. I loaded a saved game, and on doing so was given an error message saying that a required file - MCM Helper - was inactive, but required for this game. I was then asked if I wanted to reactivate it. Before I could respond, my game crashed. This is also the mod that was indicating SkyUI was missing before.

Got my solution: uninstall both mods completely (even remove the archives), purge, deploy, reinstall both, deploy.

Also downloaded this:

I didn't have it before, and my game was working fine, but I figured I might as well use this to solve the in-game problem. Meanwhile, Vortex stopped its out-of-game-whining about either having a redundant mod or not having it at all.
