Installing updated mods question

Is there a way for a mod with a set-up menu with many options to see which options you selected before? Are those choices listed in a file somewhere inside the mod so you could write down your previous choices before reinstalling?

Not that I'm aware of.  Maybe look inside your Data folder -- or the mod's folder if you're using MO2 or similar -- to see which files it has.  Or mouse over the .esp's in MO's right pane to see their dependencies.
