sean1984
Hello. Lately I have been experiencing pauses when walking/running/swimming. I will hold down the forward/backward direction key and my character will stop moving between 5 and 30 seconds after holding down the key. I depress the key, press it back down, and works until it 5-30 seconds later. When I utilize the always move key, this does not occur. I have spent hours upon hours searching for answers to this and have had luck finding an answer (and maybe a total of 3 other reports) of this problem occurring. This issue did not occur until around 50 hours of play time. Not all of the play time was spent on the same save. I havy quite a few mods installed. I do not post on forums much at all so if screenshots of the mods installed are need I might need some help. Answers to questions I have seen 1. I have remapped the keys to use the arrow and surrounding keys. I tried using the default WASD key set with no results.2. I changed the oblivion.ini setting for the gameport to 0. I then pulled the system out to unplug the joystick, but found that the joystick was never even plugged in. The only other change that I have made to the oblivion.ini settings (I do not know if any mods have made changes to it) is the one for world boundaries.3. I read about the issue where the game freezes all keyboard commands and installed the k-lite codes as was recommended for this problem but it had no effect.4. I tried starting a new game but the problem persists.5. I have not yet attempted a reinstall. I will do so only if no other option presents itself. The Keyboard and Mouse I am using is a combo: Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 6000 V2.0/Mouse 6000. Both utilize the same wireless usb hub. OS is Vista 32-bit. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
