magnet55sphere Posted May 22 Share Posted May 22 I recently release a mod with a rideable goat https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/117946/ i could have just gotten the goat skeleton, added a saddle bone to it and copied the vanilla goat race but change skeleton and add the ActorCreatureHorse keyword or watever it is. thing is, if i just did that, yes the goat would be mountable, but it would not be able to jump, sprint, and to the horse kick animation when you ride it. so it was just a matter of weight painting the goat over a horse, and editing race and size a little. now the goat can have those animations "with scripts that do stuff tied to them" but it also does horse noises... ive been able to work around it with lore until now, i made a goat that has "Aspect of the Horse" and i made an Elk literally named "Odd Horse" unfortunately, im working on a chicken right now.... i have no way to explain the manditory horse noises that come with some of the animations..... if anyone knows how or where to remove these sound effects (hopefully its just a matter of copy vanilla asset, removing one thing, rename) please let me know if you are interested in the goat and chicken mounts, you can get the goat from the mod i posted and i will include a nif with this post maybe for the chicken mount. yes it is also weight painted over a horse Mgnt_Animals_Chicken_MOUNT.nif Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
